The Gossip Post Up New Song
Ditto and the gang have posted up a brand new track on their MySpace page, titled ‘10,000 Things’…
The Gossip have posted up what may well be an offering from their forthcoming second album on their Myspace profile.
The track, '10,000 Things', is according to guitarist Brace Paine one of “more demos/practice tapes on the way to tide you over until our new record comes out”, which is likely to be early next year.
The full blog entry read: “To celebrate the gorgeousness and subtle doom of the fall here in the pacific northwest we’ve decided to post our new song '1000 Things'. Hope you like it!
“There will be more demos/practice tapes on the way to tide you over until our new record comes out. We are hard at work right now and I have seriously been playing bass for 5 days straight…Arthritis is gently knocking on my door.”
From the one spin we’ve just given it, '10,000 Things' comes across a tad more lo-fi than what one may expect from The Gossip. No Ditto window-breaking refrains or anything. Head here to have a listen.
