The Enemy Headline Proud Camden Reopening

Some good local new at last! Camden's Proud Gallery is set to return to action and Xfm New Music Award winners The Enemy have been announced as the first headliners.

The pint-sized Coventry trio, fresh from their latest attack on Arctic Monkeys, will headline the opening night of the Proud Camden Reopening Weekend on Thursday April 3

Proud Camden will reopen in the grade II listed Horse Hospital building in the Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road.

The new venue is more than double the size of the previous site with bands now playing across two rooms. A third room features the building’s original 200-year-old stables, while the famous rock n’ roll deckchairs will return on the new outdoor terrace.

Proud Camden Director Alex Proud said: “It took a little longer than expected, but it was very much worth the wait – on April 3 we’re back – bigger, better and even more beautiful.

“It has been a testing time for all of us in the aftermath of the recent fire, however it has only caused to knit the local community even closer together – and our reopening will help mark the start of a bright new era for Camden.”

The full line-up for the opening night is:

  • The Enemy (Live)
  • Babyshambles’ Drew McConnell (LIVE)
  • Friendly Fires (DJ)
  • Nick Grimshaw (DJ)
  • Jodie Harsh (DJ)
  • Lisa Moorish (DJ)
  • Stunners International (DJ)

Tickets are priced £10 and are only available on the night with doors opening at 9pm.

The opening night will also raise money for those affected by the recent Camden fire through collections from all guests.
