The Domino Documentary

Formed in 1993 by Laurence Bell, Domino Records was launched as a means for Bell to release the music he truly believed in.
Sebadoh’s ‘Bubble And Scrape’ was the first success on the label before it carved out an enviable reputation for signing cutting edge US artists like Smog, Royal Trux and Will Oldham.
A dramatic turning point came in the form of Franz Ferdinand before the label bagged the signatures of Sheffield’s favourite sons, Arctic Monkeys.
Laurence Bell and a host of Domino’s biggest names chip in to tell the amazing story behind the UK label’s dramatic successes.
