  1. Havent been for years and not going again. Been there done the occasion and seen all the greenfields ect and what it has to offer more than once. What it really boils down to is im a music fan and i go to see bands not sit in wonder up at the stone circle so when a festival has the arrogance to not announce the bands 'till the tickets are sold i dont see why i should pay loads and take a chance and hope there may be one or two that i want to see. Kinda back fired for a lot of people this year who were happy to go along with this over the time. I mean the one or two i want to see i normally see in the year ahead anyway. oh yeah and got fed up with the amateur thieves ripping stuff off to. (Albeit crap stuff). Theres no end of festivals now, some free with good lineups and a choice of music which, within, your bound to find something you like. Oh and its a big world out there to. Try the rest of the world . We go to Finland quite alot. If you havent been before to Glasto though...........go. You have to do it!

  2. Rubbish, rubbish and more RUBBISH...

I wonder how many sponsors will be there.. This year, Glastonbury will would like to thank our sponsors....

The whole ethos has gone.. Mud! Drop the ticket price, give me better access in/out and lose those freakin' sponsors, I remember when bands used to play for virtually nothing (Inspirals when Noel ran on stage wearing a cows head!!!!)

    Download fest for me..

    Enjoy

  3. Looks brilliant. Wish I was going, but chose Radiohead in Manchester instead this year.

  6. yes, admittedly, i'm not bowled over by any of the pyramid stage headliners, but the rest of the line-up is soooooooo good it barely matters. can't wait.....

  7. Yes, maybe it doesn't quite compare with last years, the killers, arctic monkeys, the who, arcade fire etc etc takes some beating infact last year saw some of the best festival lineups we've seen in a while, Reading & Leeds had amazing lineups and even V (dare I say it) was pretty good, but this isn't a bad lineup by any means. Also we need to remember there was no Glasto in 2006 so last year they brought together the best of 06 and 07s music. There are some very very good acts here and there's no way you'd get to see all of them anyway. Glastonbury is all about diversity and the experience. I have my ticket, and I can't wait.

  8. as always there's something for everyone. Glastonbury has never been about headline acts for me. The best bit is just wandering about and coming across something you've never seen/heard before and having a fuckin ball! can't wait.
Bit dubious about Shakin' Stevens being described as 'legendary' though!

  9. Saturday 28th June, Pyramid Stage, "Very Special Guest TBC" just before Jay-Z....

  10. i think this a good line up... i think J-Z will surprise everyone, esp if he plays with linkin park like i hear he will.... I agree with jools, this isnt just about the headliners, its the whole experience, and bet this year it will hot (hopefully), just to annoy the glasto haters this year...
