Snow Patrol Name Album

added 05 August 2008 at 11.59

Not to be out-done by the Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol have named their fifth album by accident. It was the drummer’s fault.

Snow Patrol have confirmed their fifth album will be called ‘One Hundred Million Suns’. It was supposed to be a secret until drummer Johnny Quinn let is slip. Insert drummer joke here…

Quinn was interviewed by the Belfast Telegraph and must clearly have been bamboozled by the journalist’s probing questions. Despairing of their drummer’s actions, Snow Patrol have now confirmed the title on their website. Say the Patrol:

“We let slip the working title of the album then said not to print it until we had finalised it with each other...  Those words were not heeded and they printed it anyway”.

Know any good drummer jokes? Why don’t you post one here:

  2. Your news are not correct.
Not the drummers fault it was. The Belfast Telegraph has broken the agreement to publishing the title not till the band would transmitting their 'Okay'. So are jokes about drummers whose handles are more professional as these of some journalists simply pointless. Who is able to can read, should visit the bands' website.
