Simian Man To Produce Next Arctic Monkeys Album

James Ford is back twiddling the knobs for Sheffield's finest and he's hinting at a new direction...
James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco has confirmed that he's back on board to produce the third Arctic Monkeys album and that there might be a whole new direction for the group. "It's too early to say what sort of direction they'll go in next, but they've got at least one tune up their sleeves that sounds massive already," he told The Daily Star, speaking about the follow-up to last year's 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'. "It's much more psychedelic than the first album. I wouldn't rule out a bit of R 'n' B either - the boys know their stuff".
Which direction do you think the Monkeys should go in? Which direction do you think they shouldn't go in? Should they embrace psych, get into some funky beats or head off on a Jazz Odyssey? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment here.
