Santogold, The Ting Tings And Scroobius Pip Announce London In-Stores
The ladies are out in force as both the genre-defying and bending Santogold and Manchester's pop confection The Ting Tings announce in-store performances in London. As do Dan Le Sac & Scroobius Pip.
Santogold - a big favourite round these here parts - will be performing live and signing copies of her debut album, 'Santogold', on Sunday 11 May at 4:00pm at the Oxford Street Zavvi.
'Santogold’ is released on May 12 but fans attending the in-store performance can get their hands on the album from 3.30pm. Which is nice.
The Ting Tings, on the other hand, will be appearing at the same venue at 6pm on May 12. The Salford duo of Katie White (guitar/vocals) and Jules De Martino (drums/vocals) will perform an acoustic set and then sign copies of their new single, 'That's Not My Name'. Their debut album, the rather splendid 'We Started Nothing', is out a week later.
Meanwhile, Messrs. Le Sac and Pip launch their debut album, 'Angles', with two live appearances on May 13. An in-store gig at the Oxford Street Zavvi (see a pattern emerging here?) at 6pm precedes a gig at the Camden Barfly, which will be recorded live for John Kennedy's Xfm X-Posure show.
'Angles' is released on May 12 and the duo will be proving their literacy skills by signing copies of the album at Rough Trade East on day of release.
