Pigeon Detectives Announce Second Album
The Pigeon Detectives have announced their second album 'This Is An Emergency' will be due for release less than a year from their debut.
The follow up to 'Wait For Me' - which hit the shelves last May 14 - should reach us on May 12 of 2008, plenty of time before their sold out London dates on June 6-7.
The new record - which was produced by Stephen Street of The Smiths and Kaiser Chiefs' fame - looks back on their past year, as Matt Bowman explained to Xfm:
“It’s been fairly frantic, everything’s been going at breakneck speed between gigs and touring and festivals. I think we’ve definitely written a record rather than a number of songs to play live.”
With over 70,000 tickets already snapped up for their full UK tour in May, there are just a handful of tickets left for four of the Pigeon Detectives' live shows.
