Open For The Subways With Xfm Uploaded!

added 28 August 2008 at 11.56

Yes indeed, Xfm are offering your band the chance to open for The Subways on one of three dates of their headlining October tour. But you need to be in it to win it - get registering here!

Are you in a band? Fancy getting a gig? Fancy getting a gig opening for one of the hottest bands in the UK right now? Then let Xfm help you! Because we are offering your band the chance to be the opening support act for The Subways at one of their forthcoming headline shows in October!

The young power trio of Billy Lunn, Charlotte Cooper and Josh Morgan are taking their new album 'All Or Nothing' out for an airing all next month, and they've asked Xfm to help select the support slots for Manchester Academy (Sunday, October 12) and London Brixton Academy (Wednesday, October 15)!

And how are we going to select the winning bands? Via the mighty Xfm Uploaded site, of course! Our unsigned acts network is THE place for up and coming bands, so Xfm and The Subways are going to be dipping into that amazing pool of talent.

So what do you need to do? Well, first you need to make sure your band has its own page at www.xfm.co.uk/uploaded.

Secondly, you need to tell us you’re up for the gig – to do that, you need to register using the form below, letting us know which show you want to play at. Then we’ll be able to take a look at your band’s Uploaded page, check you out and if you’ve got what it takes… who knows!

Registration opens 9am on September 1 2008 and closes on the following dates: 9am September 12th (Manchester competition) and 9am September 19th (London competition). The Glasgow date is now closed.

Go to it! Come October, we could be down the front, watching YOU...
