Noel Gallagher To Go Solo!

Well, not until the Oasis album campaign is done and dusted anyway...
Noel Gallagher has revealed that he's to produce a solo album after the release of 'Dig Out Your Soul'. "I'd like for us to do separate projects after this record," he told Blender magazine in America. "We'd all have to agree on it, so it will probably never happen. I've got loads of new songs. Somewhat predictably, they're all brilliant."
The only precedent for this has been (predictably) The Beatles, who all rushed out solo projects within months of each other following their messy split in 1970, and, er, Kiss, who issued a solo record by each member all on the same day in 1978. Drummer Peter Criss had the worst-selling LP, apparently.
