Noel Gallagher Speaks Out Against Knife Crime
The Oasis man has a rant against the "scumbags", who've "taken over". Oh, and he won an award, too.
Noel Gallagher has launched an extraordinary attack on youths who commit knife crime, claiming that "The scumbags are taking over the streets". Speaking at the Silver Clef Awards in London today - where Oasis picked up a lifetime achievement gong, incidentally - Gallagher put the blame squarely on previous governments, claiming that the current leaders didn't know what to do.

Gallagher's comments come as three teenagers are remanded in custody over the murder of Ben Kinsella in Islington last Sunday. Silver Clef Award raises funds for Nordoff Robins, the music therapy charity.
