Noel Gallagher Attacked On Stage In Canada

Noel Gallagher was assaulted on stage last night by a fan in Toronto. The band were running through their V Festival headline set at the time.

Noel Gallagher was assaulted on stage last night by a fan in Toronto. The band were running through their V Festival headline set at the time.

The band were partly through ‘What’s The Story Morning Glory’ when a fan rushed the stage from the left and tried to push the guitarist into the crowd. A brief fracas erupted as the fan was ushered into the wings be security. Liam Gallagher appeared to be jeering from a safe distance behind them.

The set was halted temporarily before the band returned to complete their set, ending proceedings with their usual set closer, The Beatles’I Am the Walrus
