The Streets are the latest band to giveaway a free download. From today you can get their new track 'The Escapist' which is the closing track from Mike Skinner's upcoming fourth album 'Everything Is Borrowed'.

The Streets are back with a new album and you can get a track from it right here for nowt!  The follow up to 2006's 'The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living' is due out in September. 'Everything Is Borrowed' is being billed as a reminder of why we all fell in love with The Streets in the first place.

Mike Skinner's giving away a free download of the final track on the album, 'The Escapist', from today.  The video for it, which you can watch on YouTube, features Mike’s Beat Stevie cohort Ted Mayhem, it sees Mike walking across France. As Mike explains “during a great period of intense mixing we decided that it might be nice to shoot a video. It was totally different from any other video that I've made in that it was something real that we just filmed rather than trying to create something real looking using lots of people and lots of angles. I feel like it's more than a video in that sense.”
