New Franz Track Surfaces

added 12 August 2008 at 09.59

Xfm and the band give fans a sneak preview of brand new material in the form of new song ‘Lucid Streams’. Hear it again tonight with Dave Berry.

Following Marsha’s play of new Franz Ferdinand track ‘Lucid Dreams’ last night, the band are streaming it from their website. Dave Berry will also be playing the song tonight at around 4.40pm. The song is the first new material to surface since 2006.

The fate of 'Lucid Dreams' still hangs in the balance and is thus far only confirmed to soundtrack the American Football video game, Madden 09. It will not be released as a single and may not even surface on the band’s new album, due in 2009.
