New Beck Track Premieres Online

added 20 May 2008 at 10.25

Ahead of a slew of worldwide dates in 2008 from one of modern music's greatest chameleons, you can now listen to the ambient loveliness that is the new Beck track 'Chemtrails'. For free! Nothing! Zip! What a gent!

Produced by uber-producer, Danger Mouse, the first fruits of Beck's new album have surfaced online.

The song 'Chemtrails' is currently streaming from his website the diminutive hip-hopindiefunkster's MySpace page.

The track is lifted from Beck's as-yet-untitled album and, if you're gagging to see a man simultaneously playing the harmonica and breakdancing, you can catch him in the UK on the following dates:

  • Southampton Guildhall (July 1)
  • Manchester Apollo (2)
  • London Wireless Festival (4)

Tickets are on sale on now and are available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop.
