Nash's Glasto Glitter Plans

added 29 February 2008 at 14.11

Kate Nash has revealed plans for her Glastonbury opener with a little bit of girly ooo aaahh, telling Xfm she wants to use a glitter cannon to liven up her set.

The lucky songstress scooped the NME Award for Best Solo Artist last night at the Indig02 and Best British Female the week before.  Good times.

Nash told Xfm she hopes to meet Beyonce at Glasto adding:  "I wanna get a glitter cannon."  And the technicalities of a glitter shower in the standard Glasto mud?

"We'd get the canon on the side of the stage, scchhhooaoaaahh (sound of canon!), falls on everyone and everyone goes ooaaaahhh!"

It seems the only disappointment Nash had last night was her fella Ryan Jarman from The Cribs missing out on the Best Live Act gong:

"I'm really upset actually because I thought they [The Cribs] really deserved it so bit bummed about that."

Her only other complaint? "I'm so hungry..."  Mini buns packed with cous-cous not floating your boat Kate?

Following her platinum selling debut, 'Made Of Bricks', Nash is writing the follow up at present with named tracks 'Paris' and 'Doo Waa Doo' already complete.
