Muse Begin Work On New Album

Devon's favourite sci-fi neo prog sons Muse have confirmed that work has started on the follow-up to 2006's collosal 'Black Holes & Revelations'. What can we expect after such an exercise is bombast? Interstellar overdrive perhaps?
The band had of course already revealed their plans to start work to on the new record when they spoke to Xfm at their Royal Albert Hall date last month, adding that this one may well be self-produced.
Confirming to NME, drummer Dom Howard said: "We've just started writing songs for the new album, whatever it's going to be, you know?
"It's going great, we just started. We're right at the tip at the moment and I think the point is that we've been on the road for so long... It's really about getting back together and getting the ball rolling again and seeing whether it'll roll."
Frontman Matt Bellamy was still unsure as to what fans can expect form the trio saying: "What will come out of that is impossible to say.
"It may just be albums, but it may be a stream of singles, or it may just be one 50-minute symphony, do you know what I mean? Who knows?"
