Mogwai Announce New Album, EP

Stand by to have your ears mashed as your brain sets the controls for the heart of the sun - post-rockers Mogwai have announced details of a brand new album, EP and an autumn mini tour. And just check those song titles...

Entitled 'The Hawk Is Howling', Mogwai's sixth album will be the band's first full-length release since 2006's 'Mr Beast' while the EP, 'Batcat', is set to feature guest vocals from legendary 13th Floor Elevators frontman Roky Erikson.

The 'Batcat' EP is set to hit the shelves on September 8 and will be available on CD, 12" vinyl and download while the album follows on September 22.
