Manics To Record Richey Edwards' Songs

The band are to use lyrics written by the missing member on their new album.
Manic Street Preachers have revealed that their next album will feature lyrics written by missing band member Richey Edwards. The band's fourth founding member disappeared in February 1995, leaving his car near the Severn Bridge in South Wales. Despite being eligible to be declared legally dead since 2002, his family have opted to keep Edwards filed as a missing person.
It's thought that the album will be called 'Journal For Plague Lovers' and is set to come out in the Spring. Legendary producer Steve Albini - who has twiddled knobs for Nirvana, Pixies and The Stooges amongst others - is doing the business for the follow-up to 2007's 'Send Away The Tigers'.
