Last Shadow Puppets Announce New Single

added 04 September 2008 at 14.14

Turner and Kane will release the London Metropolitan Orchestra-featuring ‘My Mistakes Were Made For You’ next month.

The single follows next week’s (September 9) Mercury Music Prize, of which The Last Shadow Puppets’ debut album ‘The Age Of The Understatement’ is nominated.

‘My Mistakes Were Made For You’ will be out on October 20, and features the London Metropolitan Orchestra conducted by Arcade Fire violinist Owen Pallett.

It will be available on two 7”s, CD and digitally; including three B-sides - a live orchestra version of album-track ‘Separate And Ever Deadly’, and cover versions of Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Paris Summer’ and Burt Bacharach’s ‘My Little Red Book’.
