Kings Of Leon ‘Begging For It’ Off Talking Heads
Jared Followill drops this bizarre admission as Kings Of Leon take to Xfm’s wheels of steel on the band’s first Residency show.
Matthew and Jared Followill began their first stint as Xfm DJs last night by admitting they were ‘gagging for it’ off Talking Heads after seeing one of New York’s fanour art rockers at their hotel bar.
“We actually saw one of the guys from Talking Heads in the hotel bar last night. He seemed pretty cool. In fact , he was a little too cool. He didn’t even look at us and we were begging for it”.
On a slightly less bizarre note, Jared and Matthew also professed a love for cartoon punks The Offspring.
“Me and Matthew used to pick up a little change back in the day, do a little moshing, y’know. .. ‘Self Esteem’ is a badass rocker”.
