Kaiser Chiefs Confirm Xfm's Ronson Revelation
Kaiser Chiefs have officially confirmed that they are set to work with Mark Ronson on their next album which comes as no surprise to Xfm who broke the news months ago.
The Kaisers have been busy in a London studio working with uber-super producer Mark Ronson on the follow up to 2007's 'Yours Truly Angry Mob'.
Don't forget you heard it here first, with Xfm breaking the exclusive news on the Kaiser Chiefs third album back in February.
The band sent out a message to their mailing list subscribers confirming:
"We've been hard at work writing, rehearsing and recording songs. It all started with the two new songs you may have heard on the UK tour at the end of last year, 'You Want History' and 'Never Miss A Beat'. We went into the studio to record and kept on going. We might debut a few more live soon.
"There's been a load of rumours about what we're doing; the truth is we're working with Eliot James and Mark Ronson at a couple of studios in London.
"Eliot is a young British producer we like very much; Mark's a young British (via Nwe York) producer that we also like very much.
"As a pair they're dynamite and we're enjoying plotting Kaiser Chiefs mk.III with them pressing buttons and turning dials. It's all going well and what's going on in the studio has us excited, we're looking forward to you hearing it."
The Kaisers are currently planning for their home gig in Leeds at Elland Road Stadium on May 24 with extra seats going on sale this Friday (May 2) at 9am.
