Kaiser Chiefs Announce UK Arena Tour

The Leeds heroes are to play enormodomes come February and March. Plus, hear the new single on Xfm this week...

Kaiser Chiefs are setting off for their biggest tour yet early next year. The band, who are set to return on October 6 with an all-new single, 'Never Miss A Beat', will be hitting the road on February 22 2009 at Nottingham's Trent FM Arena, taking in the Manchester Evening News Arena on March 2 and winding up with a show at Wembley Arena in London on March 6.

The full tour itinerary is:

February 22 - Nottingham, Trent FM Arena
February 23 - Sheffield Arena
February 24 - Birmingham NIA
February 26 - Edinburgh Corn Exchange
February 27 - Aberdeen AECC Arena
February 28 - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
March 2 - Manchester MEN Arena
March 3 - Liverpool Echo Arena
March 4 - Cardiff CIA
March 6 - London Wembley Arena

Tickets are to go onsale this Friday (October 3) at 9am via the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or via www.xfm.co.uk/gigs.

October is going to be something of a Kaiser Chiefs fest here at Xfm. Stay tuned to Xfm.co.uk for some exclusive chat from the boys at the exclusive tour launch tomorrow, while Steve Harris will be gving the first play of the band's new single on Xfm during Wednesday's (October 1) Evening Show from 7.

And on Tuesday October 14, John Kennedy will be hosting a very special LIVE track-by-track session with the Kaisers as they head into Xfm to discuss the new album 'Off With Their Heads' from 10pm.
