Exclusive: Johnny Rotten's Amazing Rant On England

Duffy may have burst into tears but Xfm held back the flood gates as John Lydon launched a tirade about the state of Britain today (but assured us he is "always polite"). Watch a video of the full hooplah right here.
Speaking to Xfm at the MOJO Awards on Monday night (June 16), Sex Pistols' John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) used the red carpet opportunity to have a full-on rant about the state of Britain today, and in particular the newly introduced smoking ban.
Having just received the Icon Award Lydon told Xfm:
"None of this, even the old farts before us could truly exist without what the Sex Pistols created for one and all. We opened the doors... and you know this be true, Johnny doesn't tell a lie.
"I don't care - black, white, red, green. I don't give a damn about your colour, this is England and they're taking it off us. You can't smoke in a building, you can't smoke in your own car.
"It used to be what you were smoking that's the problem, now it's just period. For God's sake, Champagne Charlies! Understand what socialism is!
"My working class attitude has always been this: "Don't step in my space and I won't step in yours". Those that step in my space will suffer the consequences and vice versa.
"Which is why, as Mr Rotten, I'm always been polite (which is presumably not the opinion Duffy subscribes to after he apparently reduced her to tears at the awards).
Check out the amazing rant right here.

Like John Lydon, I believe in the truth and I wonder how long it will be, before we can be arrested for speaking out against the lies that brought in the smoking ban.
