Johnny Borrell: "I Had A Crisis Of Faith"

The Razorlight man had to get his head together in the country before making the new album. Plus, take an peek into the studio with an exclusive video of the band performing 'Wire To Wire' in the studio.
Johnny Borrell has told Xfm about how he got away from it all for 3 months on his own to write the new Razorlight album. "We just needed to get a bit of a break from it all and to reffirm our faith," Borrell told John Kennedy last night, as part of a special playback of 'Slipway Fires'. "I was having a crisis of faith, with life, love, music, everything. I went to a little island in the Hebrides, just to get some space. I went up on my own in the middle of winter, to try and keep that appetite for music. And it just sort of came back."
Meanwhile, the band have slipped Xfm an exclusive look into the studio during the recording of 'Slipway Fires'. Click on the link below to see a video of Razorlight performing their new single, 'Wire To Wire', which was released on Monday.
