Ian Brown: "No Chance" Of Roses Reunion

You'll have to wait a very long time to see the Mancunian legends back on stage together, says their former frontman...
Ian Brown has weighed in with an opinion on whether there will ever be a Stone Roses reunion... and it's not good news. Following Mani's recent comments that the singer was the only former member of the legendary Manchester band holding out on a nostalgic get-together, Brown told Reuters, "No chance. Not in the next three lifetimes".
The monkey man was speaking at the launch of a new Sex Pistols film and claimed the punks were a massive influence on the Roses. "I think they probably showed us as kids that you didn't have to be some middle class virtuoso musician. It was all about expressing yourself and it didn't matter where you came from, you could get into music."

he's been up on stage with mani a few times now in the last couple of years - thats 50 percent of the band back together. its squire that is the reason for him not wanting to reunite. 'ex friends in a frenzy green with envy, jealous eyes' ........as he says on 'longsight m13'. its never gonna happen so everyone should stop going on about it

who cares??he is a legend anyway and i think he is better as a solo artist anyway.Long live Ian Brown!!!!!

Spencer, having seen the Roses a few times I can confirm that it is nothing like the real thing.
Brownie's arrogance can sometimes be funny but in this respect it's just stupid. Life's too short, Ian, get the Roses back together. -
Ian plays quite a few Roses songs live, so it's almost as good as the real thing.
