Franz Ferdinand are back with a belter of a tune and a brand new sound. Steve Harris played it first last night, now you’ve got seven days to listen back and tell us what you think.

‘Ulysses’ is taken from the band’s third album, ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’. The single is released on January 19 and the album follows a week later on January 26.

  2. I wouldn't call this Franz Ferdinand for some reason but it doesn't take away the fact that it is mint! Just sounds very different, but every band takes a slight new direction at some point and sometimes these gambles pay off. This does.
