Hear Kaiser Chiefs' New Single

added 27 August 2008 at 10.23

Dave Berry played the new Kaiser Chiefs song first. You can listen to it again here. Tell us what you think below. We're all ears...

We played it earlier this morning before everyone else. Now you can hear the new Kaiser Chiefs single, 'Never Miss a Beat', again. We think it's a bit of a banger, but what do you think? Have a listen and tell us what you think below.

  2. This is great stuff from the Chiefs. The first time I heard it I just knew it was a number one record.

  5. Oh dear! This track has the energy from the first album but sounds boring, dull and repetitive. I really do hope the rest of the album is better than this one.

  7. Sorry to rain on your parade, Yvonne, but the IoW wasn't the first time the Chiefs played this track live - it was unveiled on the Nov 2007 UK tour.
I really like it - hope the rest of the album is as good.

  9. ooo the new kaisers single is pretty awsome as soon as i read that marc ronson is producing their new album, at first i was in complete chock then i started to giggle and then i began to thought that its actually very gineus and wow the new single sets the bars for any other band who is relising a new album/single .... combanation of masters (kaiser cheifs + ronson)

  10. They really have taken a step (Well more like a leap) back to there original material, considering that "Ruby" was really different from there comfort zone of there album "Employment" and it managed to grab the number one spot. But is "Never Miss A Beat" strong enough to take the title again. It has that Kaiser Chiefs touch of being really catchy, enthusiastic, and most importantly, energetic, but it isn't spread over a vast amount of music genres. "Ruby" had a touch of easy listening and not being so heavy.
Since creating "Yours Truly, Angry Mob" I have been waiting for music with that Kaiser Chiefs feel. "Never Miss A Beat" is just that needed texture.
