Guillemots at Orange RockCorps

Xfm caught up with The Guillemots at Toynbee Hall where they were experiencing the joy of white emulsion. Turns out they played their first gig there as well...magical. Listen to the interview here.
Xfm popped down to Toynbee Hall where hundred of volunteers were grafting away to earn a ticket for The Orange RockCorps Charity Supergig which will take place on Friday 26 September at The Royal Albert Hall.
Among the busy hands were those of The Guillemots who will be playing at the gig along with Hip Hop giant, Busta Rhymes. Fyfe Dangerfield, lead singer of Guillemots, told Xfm he'd be quite happy to do a collaboration with Mr Rhymes:
"We really wanna get him to rap and for us to do the backing track but whether it will happen or not I don't know."
The band supported REM last weekend at Twickenham Stadium where Fyfe and Tom Smith of Editors joined Stipe and Co on stage for their last song:
"Me and Tom were watching at the side of the stage and got dragged on to sing 'It's The End Of The World As We Know It' which was mental!"
The generous Guillemots also explained that this is not the first time they've given a helping hand. Fyfe worked in a charity shop, Aristazabel planted trees in Canada, Mc Lord Magrao taught music to kids in Brazil and Greig...well apparently he's pretty generous with the band's rider. Beer anyone?
