GN'R For TV?

added 10 April 2008 at 09.49

A report has suggested that Guns N'Roses singer Axl Rose may be lining up to star in his own TV reality show. The idea is that the series would revolve around the release of the long-awaited 'Chinese Democracy' album.

If that's the case and given how long we've waited for the album to appear and with not much sign of it arriving anytime soon either, this could make it the longest running reality show ever.

According to AllYourTV.com, a "major music-orientated television channel" has proposed the idea to the singer and would follow Rose through rehearsals, studio activity and interviews.

A source said: "There is a lot of footage to choose from. Some of it is incredibly personal and revealing about Axl's life."

Other sources at Guns N'Roses' label Geffen claim that a finished album has been finally delivered but that wrangles over rights and royalties are preventing a release.

Neither Axl Rose nor his management company have commented on the rumour.
