Fratellis Frontman Going Solo?

added 29 May 2008 at 14.53

The Fratellis frontman has revealed plans to work on his own solo album once touring for the band's current record is complete.

Lead singer Jon Fratelli explained that he wants to release his own solo efforts but is planning to wait until touring for his band's second album 'Here We Stand' is all over.

Speaking to the Daily Star Jon explained: "I'm thinking I'll probably release a solo album after we finish touring this new album. It's not a big deal, just something to keep me busy".

The Fratellis are releasing the follow-up to 'Costello Music' entitled 'Here We Stand' on June 9 followed by a tour of the US, a whole bunch of festival dates including Glastonbury and Reading/ Leeds Festival.
