Franz Ferdinand Reveal Name Of New Album
They've been away for what feels like forever, but Franz Ferdinand are back and have named their new album due for release next year. Brace yourself...
Lead singer of Franz Ferdinand, Alex Kapranos, has revealed that the band's third studio album will be titled 'Tonight'.
Speaking to NME, Alex revealed that the album is most definitley "music for the dancefloor".
He said: "It's music of the night, so it seems like the most appropriate title. It suggests a performance too".
"I can picture a marquee outside a theatre saying 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand', there's a sense of anticipation. It's music for the dancefloor, your bedroom as you psyche yourself up to go out."
Rumour has it that, 'What She Came For' will be the first single from the new album. How flippin excited are we? Watch this space.
