Foo Fighters Seek Unsigned Talent

Foo Fighters are on the lookout for unsigned talent to join them onstage at next month's Grammy Awards.
The band are offering one fan the chance to appear on stage with them at the ceremony in Los Angeles. There's just one catch - Dave Grohl and co are looking for unsigned instrumentalists who can play either string, brass or woodwind instruments.
It's all part of the My Grammy Moment, a competition where one lucky winner gets to perform with one of the bands playing at the awards.
Contestants are being asked to submit a 60-second clip of them playing The Foo's 'The Pretender' before January 20. Grammy-appointed judges will then select 45 quarter finalists before a public vote selects the three entrants who will finally audition with the band and orchestra.
The eventual will winner will either draw strings or blow (those who suck will have been eliminated early on) with Foo Fighters on February 20 at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
Foo Fighters are nominated in five categories including Album Of The Year for 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' and Record Of The Year for 'The Pretender'.
