Exclusive: The Kooks Reveal Meaning Of Single

added 04 April 2008 at 10.45

Ahead of tonight's appearance on Dave Berry's Live From Leicester Sqaure segment of his 'Drive' show, The Kooks' Luke Pritchard has exclusively spoken to Xfm about what new single, 'Always Where I Need To Be' is about.

Though being slightly coy, Pritchard admitted the track was based on experience. The singer said:

"I met a really crazy girl and I just wanted to write a song about it and it happened really naturally."

Explaining how the song was written, Pritchard continued: "It was two different songs and I just married them together which I rarely do as a writer."

The Kooks will be playing live tonight on Xfm 104.9 (April 4) at 6pm. To be in with a chance to see the guys in action up close and personal, just leave your details with us and we'll be in touch. We'll even lay on the beers as well.
