Exclusive: New Stereophonics Material On The Way

added 29 May 2008 at 10.54

Having played Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in honour of the Welsh rugby team, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has spoken exclusively to Xfm about what fans can expect from the band's new material.

Displaying the kind of diplomacy worthy of a master politician, Kelly Jones revealed that the band's new material would show off two sides to the band.

He said: "One side is really heavy and there's one side which is not. But it's going good and [bassist] Richard [Jones] has been writing songs too."

Jones went on to confirm that fans will be getting a sneak preview of the new material when Stereophonics play the V, Oxygen and T In The Park festivals: "We're doing some new tunes and auditioning them at festivals."

Check out the rest of the interview where Stereophonics talk more about their new material, losing the plot and their mysterious new project.
