Exclusive: Boosh Rumours Of Kills Rift Untrue

added 02 June 2008 at 16.56

The Mighty Boosh have assured Xfm that tabloid rumours surfacing about cancelling The Kills slot at their festival are utter rubbish.

The tabloids have got a story wrong!!! Surely not!! Yes, it is shocking, but a story printed in one of the red tops this morning about The Mighty Boosh cancelling The Kills who were due to play at their festival is apparently completely untrue.

The piece claimed that Boosh man Noel Fielding's girlfriend had a problem with his friendship with The Kills' Alison Mosshart but Xfm can confirm that this is not the case.

Noel's girlfriend Dee Plume told Xfm that the whole thing was made up and she's looking forward to playing at The Mighty Boosh Festival with her band Robots In Disguise alongside The Kills and all the other acts set to perform.

The event takes place at The Hop Farm in Kent on July 5.
