Does It Offend Muse?

Muse frontman and plankspanker extraordinaire Matt Bellamy has expressed his desire to work with Reading's nu-ravers Does It Offend You Yeah?. And it seems that the ball has already started to roll...
Interviewed by the BBC, Bellamy said: “They emailed me something ages ago, this must have been a year ago, and I did play something. I think I emailed it back to them and I never heard anything so I’m not sure if they got it or the part wasn’t good enough, I don’t know!
"I don’t really know what will happen but I would like to do something. I’d like to do a little collaboration. I think they’re really good.“
Speaking of Muse's upcoming live album and DVD of last summer's Wembley Stadium gigs, 'HAARP', Bellamy justified the scale of the concerts and their high production values: "I think for us we always had songs that have that sort of drama and theatrical element which tends to lend itself to a large concert experience."
He added: "A lot of bands, their music is probably better received in a theatre where there’s a more intimate experience.”
Muse return to a more intimate environment themselves when they top the Teenage Cancer Trust line-up at the Royal Albert Hall on April 12 while their usual visual histrionics are expected to return when they headline the V Festival in August.
