Danger Mouse To Produce Beck

added 07 March 2008 at 10.48

Beck, the living embodiment of post-modernism, has drafted in knob-twiddler extraordinnaire Danger Mouse to sprinkle some magic over his next album, the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2006's 'The Information'.

Danger Mouse - or Brian Burton as he's known to his mum - first reached notoriety when his 'Grey Album' - a mash up of Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z's 'The Black Album' and The Beatle's 'The White Album' - was leaked on the internet.

He's since gone on to produce albums by Gorillaz, Sparklehorse, The Rapture and, more recently, the upcoming album from Ohio blues duo The Black Keys as well achievig fame in his own right as one half of Gnarls Barkley.

Details of how Beck's new work will sound are unknown but given the pedigree of the artists involved, the results will be worth looking forward to.
