Dandy Warhols Launch Remix Competition
You'll have the chance to much about with the new single 'Mis Amigos'...
The Dandy Warhols are to mark the release of their new single and tour with a remix competition. The Portland psych-rockers are giving away the fiver 'stems' from their track 'Mis Amigos' to enable musicians and bedroom producers to tinker with it as they please. The band are also offering up the cover art work for fans to "remix".
The closing date for entries is February 1 2009, at which point the band will choose two winners, one for the audio, and one for the artwork. The winning audio remix will be awarded a special one-off 12" white label vinyl pressing signed by the band. The winning art remix will receive a framed 12" print of their art signed by the band. The best remixes will also feature on www.myspace.com/dandywarhols.

The Dandys are in town next month to play Liverpool Academy (December 10), Bournemouth Firehouse (11), Wolverhampton Wulfrun (13), London Astoria (14), Glasgow ABC (15) and Dublin Tripod (17)
