Coldplay Win Big At The Q Awards

Chris Martin and co. snatch gongs for ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Act In The World’ at this year’s Q Awards.
Coldplay have been declared the Best Act In The World at the Q Awards this afternoon. The band’s phenomenally successful ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ was named Best Album. Had there have been an award for Best Group As Radio DJs, we daresay they would have won that, as their recent Xfm Residency was a work of genius. Check it out here.
Alex Turner and Miles Kane’s The Last Shadow Puppets won Best New Act and the Kaiser Chiefs won Best Live Act. The Kaisers will be putting their live prowess into action very soon on their upcoming arena tour, which you can read about here.
