Coldplay Release Kylie Collaboration For World Aids Day

Mr Martin and his merrymen have let go of the track they recorded with Kylie Minogue during the Viva sessions, exclusively for World Aids Day…
‘Lunar’ was recorded with the Aussie pop princess at Coldplay’s north London studio during the sessions for their fourth album, ‘Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends’.
However, singer Chris Martin previously revealed the track was “too sexy” to fit onto the full album.
“At this point we cannot be that sexy, also we haven’t quite finished it,” he told Q.
But the track has finally been set free, and is one of a number of songs available as part of RED(WIRE), a new weekly music service made to benefit HIV-infected people in Africa.
The Killers, U2 and Elton John have also recorded songs for the service, which will cost $5. Click here for more information on RED(WIRE).
