Coldplay Announce UK Tour Dates

As the world awaits with baited breath for their new album, ‘Viva la Vida Or Death And All His Friends’, Coldplay have confirmed the details of their forthcoming ten-date arena tour of the UK.

The tour kicks off in Birmingham at the NIA Arena on December 1, and concludes in London at the O2 Arena on December 15.
 
Coldplay’s last performance in the UK was at Manchester’s MEN Arena in December 2005, followed by a four-month tour of the US which closed at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Centre, where the band are returning to the live stage this year on June 29.
 
Chris Martin and co will also be headlining the Echo Arena in Liverpool, where they haven’t visited for six years, after supporting Richard Hawley in June 2002.
 
Tickets for the UK shows go on sale this Friday (May 30) at 9.30am, and can be purchased from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop.
 
Coldplay’s fourth studio album, ‘Viva la Vida Or Death And All His Friends’, is released on June 12.
