Butch Vig To Produce New Green Day Album

The Nirvana producer and Garbage man has been spotted in the studio with the band... Watch the video evidence here.

Green Day have confirmed they are working on their new album with legendary Nirvana producer Butch Vig... via the medium of YouTube. They've posted some footage of the band recording the follow up to 'American Idiot' with him sitting on a settee in the studio control room. Vig's Garbage bandmate Shirley Manson started the rumour on Carson Daly's US TV chat show last week, but here's the visual evidence...
