Brett Anderson Returns With New Solo Album

added 11 June 2008 at 15.08

Erstwhile Suede vocalist Brett Anderson has announced details of a new solo album and an upcoming London gig. The album is set to be released as a limited edition USB stick as well all other conventional formats.

'Wilderness' is the follow-up to Brett Anderson's 2007 eponymous debut and it promises to be a starker affair than its predecessor.

Taking a rather Zen approach, the album features Anderson on vocals, piano and guitar. Joining him is cellist Amy Langley and guest vocalist Emmanuelle Seigne on the track, 'A Different Place'.

Anderson is set to play London's Mermaid Theatre on July 7 and fans attending the gig will receive a copy of the USB version of the album.

  1. In conclusion 'Wilderness' is a beautiful album that i strongly recommend you check out. It's not going to sell loads, and will probably be ignored by most of the music world, but inside it lies a great album by one of the great songwriters of the last 20 years.
