Bloc Party Announce Details Of New Album

Bloc Party’s third album, ‘Intimacy’, will be available digitally from August 21. It will be delivered to fans who pre-order the album from the band’s website www.blocparty.com. Those who pre-order will also be sent a physical version of the album from October 27 which includes extra songs.

The album was produced by ‘Silent Alarm’ producer Paul Epworth and ‘A Weekend In The City’ knob twiddler Jacknife Lee. Recorded in Kent and London, it promises to be Bloc Party at their most wildly experimental.

Bloc Party will also be helming Xfm’s Residency show for the entire month of September. They’ve got a lot to live up to since Coldplay have been doing such a cracking job this month.
