Blink 182 Drummer Injured In Plane Crash

Travis Barker expected to make "full recovery", despite third-degree burns.
Ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has been seriously injured in a plane crash. The musician was aboard a Learjet that ran off the runway at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, South Carolina on Friday (September 19). Also aboard the plane was DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein. Doctors said that they were both expected to fully recover from their injuries. However, two members of Barker's crew and the pilot and co-pilot died in the crash.
"The crew reacted to a sound consistent with a tire blowout," a spokeswoman told the LA Times. "The crew attempted to reject the takeoff, but they were unable to stop the aircraft before it departed the runway."
A representative for the two musicians said in a statment: "Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein are currently being treated for second- and third-degree burns. Barker suffered from burns on his torso and lower body and Goldstein suffered from burns on his arm and a portion of his head."
"Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn't suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected."
