Albert Hammond Jr Second Album Ready

added 14 April 2008 at 11.18

Proving himself to be no slouch, The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr has announced details of his second album. While no release date has been given, 'Como Te Llama' is set to hit the shelves sometime in June.

The album follows Albert Hammond Jr's 2006 debut solo effort, 'Yours To Keep', and is set to feature 13 tracks. It is understood that Hammond will tour the album later this year.

Writing on his MySpace site, Hammond said: “We hope to tour all year and come to each and everyone’s town. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for all the support you have shown me over the past year or two.”

There's no word as to when The Strokes will follow up their last album, 'First Impressions Of Earth' but with Hammond on his promotional duties for the rest of the year it doesn't look like anytime soon.
