AC/DC About To Rock

added 18 April 2008 at 09.50

AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson has revealed that the boogie titans are back in the studio with producer Brendan O'Brian and recording the belated follow-up to 2000's 'Stiff Upper Lip'. For those about to rock, we salute you.

Speaking to an L.A. radio station, the band's singer confirmed that the band had spent the last five weeks in a Vancouver recording studio.

He said: "We're working with Brendan O'Brien, (Bruce) Springsteen's producer, and he's a great guy. He knows exactly what we want, and so far, it sounds really good. I'm well pleased."

Johnson also speculated on the possibility of a tour saying: "I would probably thinks so, yeah. I always hate to say 'yes' in case something happens, but I really do think we will be out there - everybody's enjoying being back together again and the buzz is still there and the excitement."
