X-clusive: Snow Patrol On Isle Of Wight Festival

added 21 February 2007 at 16.54

Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody spoke exclusively to Xfm about why their hectic tour schedules may effect their Isle of Wight Festival show.

The band, who are already confirmed as one of the headline acts for the Isle of Wight Festival, have tours booked for Australia, New Zealand, USA and Japan before the summer kicks off. Not that they're looking forward to it.

Frontman Gary Lightbody told us, "We're gonna be touring until we die so i'm probably gonna have an iron lung on stage [at the Isle of Wight Festival].

"I've already got a bionic leg that i've been using quite succesfully. Our drummer is mostly machine, and our keyboard player will probably have moaned himself to death."

Other confirmed acts for Isle of Wightinclude Muse, Keane and Kasabian and rumour has it that The Rolling Stones are gonna be closing the festival this June.

Tickets for the festival are available from 9am February 18 from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here.
