X-clusive: Kate Nash To Work With Tim Burton?

added 21 September 2007 at 11.39

Speaking X-clusively to Xfm at the Vodafone Live Awards Kate Nash appealed to Xfm's listeners to help her get in touch with film director Tim Burton and revealed plans for a potential new single.

Following her live performance at the Vodafone Live! Awards Kate Nash decided that she didn't want to speak with any media, chosing instead to enjoy the party with her friends.

She did however make an exception for her favourite radio station, Xfm, inviting us backstage for a private catch.

Turning first to a possible next single Nash revealed that her track 'Mariella' from her debut album 'Made Of Bricks' is a definite contender telling Xfm,

"I really want 'Mariella' to be a single, loads of people want it to be."

But, in order to make the accompanying video of her dreams for the tune Nash had a little plea for the Xfm listeners.

"If anybody out there knows Tim Burton please can they get me his details because I want to send him 'Mariella'. I wrote that song because of [Burton's film] 'Vincent'. I want him to make a video for it because he inspired me."
